Mother’s Day Date
Mother’s Day is a holiday that is set aside 1 Sunday every May to celebrate your Mom for the beautiful person she is. It’s a way to say thank you for all that she has done for you throughout your life.
Many people choose to take their Mother’s out to dinner on this very special day. For others who might live far away and can’t travel to see their Mom’s, they will send Flowers and Gifts through the mail. Mother’s Day is the number one flower gift giving day. More flowers are sold on Mother’s Day than any other holiday in the calendar year.
More and more through the years Mother’s Day has become a commercial holiday. It seems that during the weeks leading up to Mother’s Day all you will see on Television are commercials attributed to this holiday. Going online you will notice the same. Every website you pull up will have some type of advertisement geared towards sending flowers to your Mom.
Most importantly this holiday is about family. It should be a day well spent with your Mom for those of us who might not have enough time included in our schedules to celebrate that very special someone who made me who we are today. After all, if it wasn’t for our Mom’s, none of us would be here right now. So celebrate her in a very special way and let her know how much you appreciate all that she is.
